  • Performance management and conduct management
  • How to build a high-performance team (engagement surveys/performance reviews)
  • Practical activity – Preparing questions to ask in an interview

1:15pm – 2:30pmSession 3: Managing Employees Part 2
  • Acceptable workplace behaviour management (Bullying, Sexual harassment, etc)
  • How to run an investigation into misconduct
  • Warning letters
  • Practical activity – What behaviours in your industry constitute bullying / sexual harassment etc

2:45pm – 4:00pmSession 4: Terminating Employees
  • Termination processes (resignation, redundancy, serious misconduct, performance)
  • Repercussions of improper termination (unfair dismissal, general protections, etc.)
  • Practical activity – Match the definitions of termination to the correct situation

The training will benefit Business Owners, General Managers, Office Managers and Administrators without formal HR qualifications who are responsible for managing employees, developing company culture and growing the business.
